Wafer Works Longtan Fab (WWXL)
Longtan Fab conforms to the Green Construction Regulation of Taiwan. The Phase 1 capacity was planning for 200K wafers per month (8” Equivalent), and targeting to 300K wafers after Phase 2 expansion. This manufacturing site will focus on production of 6” and 8”, N and P-Type semiconductor grade silicon wafers.
Even though Longtan Fab will eventually be dedicated solely to the manufacturing of 8” wafers, we still include 6” products initially to satisfy customer’s demand from applications such as power discrete, analog and sensor which may still require the use of 6” silicon wafers.
In Phase 1, we have planned to install 24 sets of crystal pullers with separated layout for N-Type and P-Type Silicon ingot growth. Space has been reserved for additional crystal pullers to allow future expansion. The wafering process area introduces modularized design concept for production line flexibility and enables to expand capacity for future demand.
The completion of Longtan Fab is an important milestone for Wafer Works, and a genuine promise to our customers. This expansion not only signals the continued growth of the corporation, also extends product portfolio to support requirements from different market segments.

Wafer Works Epitaxial Corporation (WWXE)
Wafer Works Epitaxial Corporation features the latest high-tech equipment and technologies for epitaxial products. The production facility operates on 502, 675 sq. feet of land. WWXE was established in 2005 and set up to manufacture and sell 4" ~ 8" EPI wafers. This Epi facility was established to further extend Wafer Works' vertically integrated semiconductor manufacturing processes, and provide customers with a broad set of semiconductor solutions. The vertically integrated manufacturing product lines allow our customers for one stop shopping to save their time and cost, and simplifying the purchasing processes.
WWXE uses state-of-the-art equipment to produce Epi products through out a wide range of doping concentration and thickness with superior uniformity. Our epitaxial wafers are produced under strict quality control standards and meet the most rigorous requirements for high-transferability, low-resistivity, and high-density components. WWXE has obtained ISO-9001、TS16949、ISO14001、and OHSAS18001 certification.
